The Biggest Games Releasing in February 2025

This month has everything: Medieval role-playing, legendary strategy, ruthless action-hunting action and one-eyed Yakuza who lost his memory and thinks he is a pirate.

Serious – there is something for just about every form of gamer, from comedy to fantasy and strategy to action. Last year was an excellent for games, and it seems that 2025 will hit the same heights.

Below are our favorite highlights of the month. And furthermore are a few honorable mentions that are worth seeing are Ninja Five-O, Rift of the Necrodancer and Tomb Raider IV-Vi Remastered.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Release date: February 4

The semi-historical RPG returns with a sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. This game continues where the first had gone, with an extensive cut scene that summarizes the events of the first game for newcomers.

The game contains two new cards to explore, each about the size of the first game. A center of the game is the huge city of Kuttenberg, which has a bowl and complexity that fares the original game – and yet it is said to perform much better than the first even today.

The team has streamlined fights and weapons are now available if you have to drop an enemy now. However, do not expect that enemies will be politely waiting for you to be recharged. In general, this is a huge expansion of the original in all the ways that matter.

Sid Meier’s civilization VII

The civilization of Sid Meier was released on PC in 1991. More than 30 years later, the series is still to be experienced as one of the best games in the 4x (Explore, Expand, Exploit and Exterminate) genre of games.

Civilization VII is now split into three ages: antiquity, exploration and modern. With each age you keep your chosen leader, but select a new civilization to move forward.

Leaders are no longer linked to civilizations; Every age ends with a crisis event that influences how you continue. If this citizen is something like the previous entries, you will find that you say “again” until it is too late to be productive the next day.

Avowed is the newest game from Obsidian, the developer behind games such as Fallout New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity and Grounded.

In the world of pillars of eternity (you don’t have to play it to enjoy this), you are responsible for investigating rumors about a plague in living countries.

In this first-person RPG you can adjust your character with magic, swords and weapons to play away while you explore the world around you.

Instead of going for a huge open world game, Obsidian has focused on creating smaller, richer spaces filled with quests and characters to discover and meet.

Like a dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

Release date: February 21
Platforms: PC, PS5/PS4, Xbox series X/S + One

Skull & Bones, eat your heart. Between the submissions in such a Dragon series (also known as Yakuza), Sega’s RGG Studio eats your lunch.

Like a dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii you put in the shoes of series Frenemy Goro Majima. He has lost his memories and is washed ashore on a deserted island. He does what every healthy person would do: sail in the seas around Hawaii in a pirate ship.

He becomes entangled in a conflict and has to collect his own pirate team for ship-to ship and man-to-man fighting. You know that old story.

Monster Hunter Wilds

We waited for a while for this.

Monster Hunter World was released in 2018 and Capcom’s legendary Monster Hunter franchise of a niche -thing for hardcore nerds in a massive hit … For hardcore nerds.
