Pakistan to Launch Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, Says Crypto Minister

A Crypto advisor of the Pakistani government announced on Wednesday that the country will launch a strategic Bitcoin reserve.

Bilal Bin Saqib, the newly appointed special assistant of the Prime Minister of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, speaking at the Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas, said that the Pakistan government “has its own bitcoin strategic reserve”.

“We get inspired by [the U.S. government]”The crypto-centric Foreign Minister added.

Earlier this year, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that cleared the way for an American strategic Bitcoin reserve.
