Coinbase Unveils Its ‘Everything App,’ Merging Wallet, Social, and AI Tools

Coinbase unveiled his new mobile app, basic rebrand and expansion of the Coinbase wallet of the company during an event for Los Angeles on Wednesday in Los Angeles alone.

Basic invoiced as an “all-app” for the on-chain economy, strives to go beyond simple transactions, allowing users to make the tools, earn, message, game and interact with AI, all within one platform.

Armstrong called the launch of the base -app the “Netscape” moment of the company, referring to the early web browser who brought the internet to a mass audience.

“We have repaired on-disaster with Coinbase,” he said. “Basic offered fast, cheap transactions around the world. I think we are currently like an industry – it has taken innovation about companies, foundations, groups and individuals.”

“2025 is the year of AI agents,” he said. “And crypto is the perfect tool for them.”
