Aleo Joins Global Dollar Network for Stablecoin Payments

by shayaan

The Aleo Network Foundation, the non-profit organization supporting the Aleo blockchain, announced that Aleo has joined the Global Dollar Network (GDN). GDN is a stablecoin network powered by the USDG token, available on Solana, Ink, and Ethereum. Its members include Robinhood, Worldpay, Kraken, Anchorage Digital, Paxos, and others.

Aleo is the first Layer 1 blockchain to join GDN. The network is designed for private and programmable payments, and Aleo’s focus on privacy adds encrypted payment capabilities to USDG. This integration is intended to improve treasury management and vendor payments for the Foundation and to create new institutional and developer use cases.
