$USDT‘s share of the pool’s nominal token balances fell from 74.8% to 69.8%, The Defiant calculated. These snapshots describe the pool’s composition, not traders’ motives or evidence that any stablecoin lost its dollar peg.
Curve’s chain-level dataset reports $420.72 million in trading volume for the same UTC day, close to DefiLlama’s total. The readings are not independent: DefiLlama’s adapter draws on Curve’s API. Curve records liquidity-related volume separately from trading turnover.
Ethereum accounted for $414.40 million of Curve’s reported trading volume that day; Base followed with $2.67 million.
